FAQ

1. Do you provide winter clothing?

We offer warm winter overalls, winter boots and mittens.

You need to come wearing:

- Warm clothing to go underneath the overall (remember more is more!), thermal base layer then fleece or wool layer on top. Layer up but not too tightly.

- If it is very cold winter trousers and jacket can be worn under the overall if it is very cold.

- A hat

- Finger gloves (these will fit under the big mittens that we provide)

- Thick socks. Wear more than 1 pair, cold toes is never fun.

Avoid cotton it will get wet and cold.

The single driver price is perfect for you if you want to have the sled to yourself.

For example, if there are 3 people in your group and you have all paid the shared sled price then 1 person might need to share the sled with some on else.

We have 3rd party insurance, so it is recommended that you have your own accident insurance.

Yes. Children will be on a sled with their parents/guardian.

6. How to dress a child for the cold?

Children feel the cold more easily than adults. Dress them with as many layer as you think and then add a couple. Try to keep them from playing in the snow before the tour to insure they dont get hot and sweaty and then wet and cold.

7. What if I don't want to drive my own sled?

All of our tours are self driving tours.

8. How many sleds are on the tour?

We have a maximum of 6 sleds on each tour.

9. Can I pet the dogs?

Yes. We ask that you wait to pet the dogs until after the tour. Most of our dogs are super friendly and love attention and infact we encourage you to interact with the dogs after the tour.

We have a few shy dogs and these are wearing bright orange jackets. Please respect them and don't try to touch them.
