Weather Protocols and Kennel Etiquette
Weather Protocol
We reserve the right to change the nature, duration, and distance of any tour depending on the prevalent weather conditions.
We always operate our tours according to the well-being and safety of the weakest participant.
Kennel Etiquette
Here are a few things to bear in mind when in our kennel:
- Before the tour the dogs are super excited and ready to run. At this point, they do not want to be petted. Therefore, we ask you to please refrain from touching the dogs at the start. We want to get going as quickly as possible and you will be guided directly to your sled.
- There will be time after the tour to pet the dogs and take photos of the kennel.
- Dogs wearing bright orange jackets are shy and do not want to be touched. Please respect this and leave them alone. Most of the dogs love everyone and want to take all the attention.
- If a dog is moving away from you, let it be. Respect what they are telling you.
- Please do not leave your gloves unattended. They might disappear. Some dogs will eat them. Also, if you are using hand warmers be extra careful to dispose of them responsibly. The dogs might eat them, it is very dangerous for them.
